CU New Venture Challenge Overview
The New Venture Challenge is CU’s cross-campus entrepreneurship championship. It is an entrepreneurial flight simulator, giving the students in the CU community with an interest in starting a business the chance to give it a try while learning about the process through events, workshops, and mentors.
Why Mobile App?
Smartphones and tablets are quickly surpassing the laptop/PC in term of daily usage. According to Gartner (article), there will be 268 billion downloads in 2017 up from 102 billion this year, and Inc. Magazine states that “in 2010 more than 50% of all Internet access was being done via handhelds”. The smartphone has changed the way we interact with technology and access information.
