Neil Riddell from CP&B talk at Startup Phenomenon how his division inside CP&B acts like a Startup. This is something I have seen a lot of recently, larger less agile companies are starting to fund smaller ventures within their companies to fend off the chance of missing out or being swept under the carpet by more agile startups in the same industry. Similar situation is Rally Software and the smaller company growing inside them Waffle.io which is filling a huge project management problem for github developers.
